Armstrong is excited to announce the release of the ERS-LC resistive humidifier. This is a great new addition to Armstrong Humidification. This complements our existing product line and competitive growing electric humidifier market. The Primary target for the ERS-LC is the institutional market, specifically applications with low capacities or minimal space for installation and service. There could also be a play in some small industrial applications.
The ERS-LC, although new to the US market is a tested and proven product in our European market and brings us excellent opportunity to fill in market gaps we would typically not have.

- Armstrong ERS-LC humidifier for the production of sterile steam.
- Galvanized zinc, epoxy painted cabinet shall have separate water and electrical compartments for safety. Secure removable door panels on 3 sides, providing easy access for installation and maintenance.
- Humidifier shall generate steam from potable water (water hardness min 50 ppm/max 400 ppm with water level with electrode) and DI or RO water (water level with float). For operation with softened or partly softened water please contact your Armstrong representative.
- Draining settings shall be adjustable depending on the quality of supply water to optimize energy consumption.
- Production from 3 to 35 kg/h (7 lb/h to 75 lb/h) of steam.
- Humidifier shall accept fully common modulating signal ON/OFF or proportional. The microprocessor regulates proper filling and draining, can limit capacity at 50% of nominal output and modulates capacity between 0% to 100%. ± 2% signal accuracy.
- Humidifier is interoperable through native modbus communication protocol.
- Digital display and keypad on the front panel shall indicate all functions of the humidifier.
- Humidifier shall have a tank in permanent stainless steel with passivated welds.

What is the ERS-LC?
The ERS-LC is a low capacity, compact, resistive humidifier. The ERS-LC can produce from 7-75 lb/hr steam capacities. It is available in most common voltages and is compatible with potable, softened, and RO/DI grade water.
What Controls are available for the ERS-LC?
Keeping with industrial standard the ERS-LC can except 0-10v signal as well as 4-20mA signals. The main board is selectable Modbus or BacNet native.
Can the ERS-LC be installed in an occupied space?
Yes, with its attractive housing and only hanging 10 inches off the wall the ERS-LC works great in occupied spaces. It can be matched with a fan pack on top for area dispersion or used with a dispersion tube in the duct.
What Dispersion is available?
The ERS-LC can be used with standard “D” dispersion tubes or any of the Humidipack series for shorter absorption distances.
How is the ERS-LC Maintained?
ERS-LC does not employ Ionic Bed technology but is designed with scale shedding Incoloy heating elements that will require regular cleaning along with the tank. As is common with all humidifiers, hard water will require more frequent cleaning. Softened water will ease the cleaning process. The canister and elements are easily removed for tank cleaning and inspection or complete tank replacement. The ERS-LC only requires access on two sides for maintenance, with lift off panels reducing the amount of space required to access the humidifier.
