The humidifier operator for the metering valve is as important as the valve itself. Armstrong offers several operators to provide compatibility with the system in which they are installed.

The operator must be able to position the valve in very nearly identical relationship to the seat on both opening and closing strokes. This is essential to provide consistent, accurate metering of steam discharged by the humidifier.

AVAILABLE OPERATORS INCLUDE:

• Armstrong C-1801 – A pneumatic operator frequently used for humidifiers under modulating control, featuring adjustable start points and various air-pressure ranges.
• Honeywell Model MP953D – A pneumatic operator commonly used for humidifiers under modulating control. For operating spring ranges and start points. Operational start-point adjustment is available in the form of a pilot positioner where required.
• Belimo Electric Operators – Belimo models LF24 and AFB24 operate at 24V 60Hz, and are standard electric operators for humidifiers under modulating control. Transformers for other voltages are available for all electric operators.
• Honeywell Model M9182A – A standard electric operator (24V 60Hz) for humidifiers under modulating control. Transformers for other volatages are available.
