Geothermal steam
Geothermal steam often contains hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and other impurities, as well as trace metals. Armstrong offers solutions to address toxic gases and meet many resource- or site-specific requirements and special precautions, including environmental regulations related to the measurement of non-condensable gas emissions.
Geothermal brine
In a geothermal environment, scaling and corrosion are resource or site specific issues and are typically much more aggressive than in industrial environments due to the presence of salts, silica, heavy metals, chlorides, calcium carbonates and other minerals (lithium++/gold) in the geothermal brine. Therefore, the choice of materials and management of the brine extraction, utilization and reinjection system are critical to ensure the performance and longevity of your equipment.
